To install an older Scanx machine, click here to download the newest drivers. Then plug in the USB cable and turn it on before loading drivers because the software looks for the device during installation. After loading the drivers you need to open Image 4.5 and go to preferences X-ray tab, choose Scanx at the bottom, then options to put in the filters; otherwise the X-rays will come out very light. You can do a test X-ray to see if the settings are right or not.
